In this special anniversary concert, Ori Shalva (Shalva Makharashvili, Andrea Kuzmich, and their son Shalva-Lucas) brings a lived experience to their performance of Georgian polyphony, recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural treasure. Rooted in a millennia-old musical culture and carried across generations and continents, this intimate concert offers a rare chance to experience Georgian polyphony as a deeply human, living tradition far beyond its homeland.

Tucked into the mountain landscape of Sutton, Quebec, this weekend-long retreat takes place at L’Ensemblitude Nature Centre, with views of Mount Pinnacle and access to surrounding forest trails. Over the course of the weekend, participants will explore the polyphonic singing traditions of Georgia and Ukraine.
